Heh, I've seen DW2 take well more than an hour on an OSX volume. I just wanted to get the word out before people spend their money only to be disappointed. It runs really slow version 3 is a major speed up on checking and repairing OSX disks. While the good news is that Disk Warrior 2.1 works fine when booted from OS 9.x on the OSX disk. You would have to be booted on that partition and while it is possible to do this with version 2.1 no word yet if it works with version 3. You could then copy Disk Warrior 3 to this partition and run it from there. However hasn't been mentioned in a long time in regards to if it is still a feature of version 3 XPF Ryan? A possible work around would be having a second partition with another copy of OSX. It has been mentioned that this is being worked on for XPFacto 3.0. So buying this upgrade will be of no use to people who alrady own the 2.1 version until Ryan is able to enable booting from a CD in OSX on our machines. ![]() This tells me that version 3 can't be booted from in OS 9.x. They include a copy of Disk Warrior 2.1 for users running OS 9.x and older versions of OS X. They don't mention old world macs but.It requires OSX 10.2.1 and you need to boot from the CD to run it on your boot disk. I don't think it can be used on Old World Macs.
